Every build starts with your vision, not a finished spec. A requirements agent drafts the requirements as EARS-format acceptance criteria, drawing on broad industry, business, and technical knowledge. Once you approve them, a design agent proposes the system architecture, data models, API contracts, and architecture decision records. A senior architect reviews, refines, and approves each one before it moves forward. Traditional teams skip this step. That's how technical debt starts.

The approved architecture breaks into atomic, dependency-ordered tasks. An implementation agent writes each task in isolation: pure feature logic, no context drift. A senior architect reviews it at that task boundary, not at the end, and nothing moves to the next task until it's approved. This is not autocomplete.

A security-review agent checks every task against RBAC, row-level security, the OWASP Top 10, injection vectors, and HHS DUA Policy compliance, and returns an approved verdict or a list of required fixes. A senior architect reviews those findings and approves the fix before the task closes. Security isn't a phase at the end. It's a gate on every task, so compliance artifacts exist at delivery, not six months after.

A test-writing agent writes unit and end-to-end test suites directly from the requirements and design docs, not just from the code, so coverage traces back to what was actually specified. Once tests pass, a senior architect reviews the results and signs off before anything ships. Only then is infrastructure provisioned via CDK across dev, staging, and production, from one reproducible codebase, and the release goes out.
